Wide Receiver Dwayne Williams Called to Duty |
 |
(November 2002) In these troubled times, many people have been called to serve their country in the hope of freeing a nation far from home. Dwayne Williams, a Sacramento native and Lawmen team member, is one of those brave individuals severing in the United States Armed Forces during these times of war in Iraq and is now wearing the uniform of the United States Army.
Although his exact location is unknown to us back home, the Lawmen Players and Staff would like to extend our prayers to him and his family. We all pray for his safe return and the safe return of all the soldiers of his unit.
We write this in the hope that the Internet truly lets our brave men and women serving abroad know that we support their efforts as they are our sons, daughters, family members and protectors of our freedom.
Dwayne was also a major contributor to the 2002 Championship team, however was unable to join is team members for the 2002 championship game due to military commitments after the 911 attacks.
