The Lawmen are proud to announce DC. Akash Rajan as the new 2003 Head
Trainer. DC. Akash Rajan will be leading all the 2003 health and
training needs for the Lawmen working directly with the team's Medical
Director DC. Tom kano.
About DC. Rajan
Upon graduating Rutgers, DC. Akash Rajan moved to California in 1994 at
which time he spent 3 years with Genentech a leading biotechnology
corporation working as a biochemist.
After experiencing numerous sports injuries and findings disappointing
results working with conventional medicine to resolve them, he sought
the help of a chiropractor. Upon seeing results and positive
improvement through chiropractic treatment, he was inspired to become a
chiropractor to help others find the same type of results.
DC. Akash Rajan Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College
West in 2000. Upon graduating, he moved back to the east coast where he
did a postceptorship with a very accomplished and highly regarded
chiropractor- Dr. David Rowe in Manhattan. He also worked in
chiropractic clinics through out New York including Brooklyn and Queens.
After feeling he had accomplished his learning goals in New York, he
returned to California in March 2001 and opened his own practice in
Alameda County.
Currently practicing in Pleasanton, CA. He us also established as the
chiropractor for 24 Hour Fitness in Pleasanton and San Leandro. He has
been a personal trainer for 24 Hour Fitness for over 2 years, currently
training and treating patients with special needs.
In His Own Words
My practice focuses on sports injuries and rehabilitation, neurological
disorders, and family practice. Patients include members of the San
Jose Sabercats, amateur marathon runners and soccer players, and a
martial arts instructor for Federal Agents.
